The measured building survey forms the foundation of your project. During this appointment, the property is carefully measured and recorded to enable preparation of accurate existing drawings and to inform the proposed design stage. Accurate surveys are essential to avoid delays and planning complications later in the process. 🔹 What’s Included ✔ Full internal and external measurement of the property ✔ Site photographs for design and planning reference ✔ Discussion of your proposed works (if required) ✔ Preparation of existing plans and elevations (issued separately) 🔹 Appointment Details Typical duration: 2–3 hours (depending on property size) Access required to all internal rooms and relevant external areas Parking should be available nearby where possible Please ensure pets are secured during the visit 🔹 What Happens Next Following the survey: Existing drawings are prepared Proposed design stage begins Planning strategy is confirmed (if applicable) You will receive confirmation once the survey has been completed and an outline of the next steps. Important Notes Survey fee covers the measured building survey in preparation of existing drawings only Planning application fees (if required) are payable separately to the Local Authority Any additional services will be agreed in writing before proceeding
